get a flickr pro account

I haven’t made much use of it, but I know I will. The impetus was that so many of my older pix were no longer visible due to the 200-photo maximum on the free account, i could no long show friends in remote locations a virtual tour of our house. Now I need to resort everything into new sets and collections and get around to scanning old prints.

...because they’re going to steal $25 from me every year for the rest of its/my life.

Sigh.

...I’m not taking enough pictures to justify this. Also, I need to complete several other goals to make this one feasible (get an external hard drive being the major one). Perhaps in the future.

This has been on here for SO long I figure if I haven’t done it by now, I’m probably not so into it. I’ll probably have a Flickr account sometime in the not too distant future, but for now, sayonara.

I really ought to have a goal to “buy a digital camera” before I invest in Flickr Pro, but I’ve reached the limit on my free storage and old photos I’ve posted are disappearing into some kind of holding area each time I post a new one. I guess that is their not so gentle way of telling me I’m using Flickr enough to pay for it.

Now, I can make sets to my heart’s content and upload way more pictures. Yay!

I will do this only if I actually use all of the 100 MB alloted to my free account each month. So far, I have yet to do so, but I’m getting there. Might happen this month!

did this by default- because now, when you give a flickr pro account as a gift, you get 3 months free for yourself- and I gave two gifts for Christmas.

But I won’t consider this goal as completed until I pay for a year for myself.
