so i got a 2.9 because of a C+ in French, the class i worked hardest at. but it’s okay. i’m running recon for my transfer apps by having that teacher write me a recommendation letter.

This just occurred to me. I am sitting here staring at a three page paper that should be two pages longer than it is. But I am done. I answered the questions thoroughly. I am just done. And I’m not stressing about it, even though my teacher told me she’d drop my grade by either half a letter or a full letter if I turned in a short paper. The length seems like such an arbitrary thing. And then it occurred to me that her even teaching me is arbitrary, and therefore the grade she assigns me is subjective. I should be able to turn in a done paper and feel good about it, instead of worrying that the one ridiculous requirement I did not meet will bring down my grade. I am not worrying though. I feel liberated to be done with this semester.
FUCK SCHOOL. Hello freedom (I am taking time off!).

I find that I enjoy college much more when I can work at a slower pace and really put my full attention into my assignments. So I dropped a class and am now taking thirteen credits and I LOVEEE it.
I highly recommend that people wanting to get good marks find their own pace…

For undergrad. And only so that I am motivated to complete all my work in a timely manner and graduate on time! I’m a transfer student and I really just want to be done with my Bachelor’s and moving on to bigger things!
