Yup finally i am taking this plunge. I brought a juicer about an year ago but simply couldnt get myself to do this. After 1 year of procrastination i am ready now. The aim is to detox as i can literally feel the toxins in my body drawing me down. And of course weight loss wouldnt be a bad side effect either :-)

my first attempt lasted only for a day..
on day 2. i want to munch some chocolates and apples! i just want to chew. so i fail.
NOW I AM DETERMINED! i will record everything.

But I was filled with excitement to see that at work we have a juicer. I asked the boss, and I have total liberty to use the things.
This may not sound so exciting, but one of the things that I miss the most when travelling about is my juicer, still in storage at my folk’s place in Kentucky.
Now I can devour 5 or 10 carrots and a half a bunch of celery without, you know, actually having to EAT all that.
Excellent veggie and/or fruit juice recipes are welcome!
Hi.. I’m completely new to this so wish me luck. I’ve never done anything like this at all but I feel really good about it. I want to lose some weight, but mostly detoxify and feel healthier. I just joined a new gym and was wondering if I should cut back on exercise or if I will be O.K. (I dont want to over-do it).
I’m on day 4 of a 92 day juice fast. David Rain says there are 92 elements to the body that need to be clean and pure, so he created the 92 day juice feast. I’m on this juice fast because I need to lose 60 pounds and clean out my system because I’m really sick an unhealthy. Wish me luck! I started on 1/11/08 and my last day will be 4/11/08 bizare huh? I didn’t know that until after I started the 92 day juice fast.
My 30 day fast starts in 13 minutes (6pm GMT) ...
Yikes! Today’s Aug. 18 and I can’t quite believe that I’m planning for no food to pass my lips until 6pm on Sept. 17 …
And then I have no real idea why I’m doing this. Some kind of wierd eating-fetish disorder I’ve decided to get into? Or deep down I know that, in not too distant future, I’m going to start feeling great – perhaps better than I’ve felt in years??
Who knows. But being reassured that 30 days on juice can’t do any major damage to the body, I’m curious to find out.
My lot for this week = juice of 1 pineapple, 7 pears, 7 apples, 10 tomatoes, 7 beetroots, 1 fennel bulb, 1 cucumber, 1 bunch of celery, many carrots, 2 melons and linseed (mustn’t forget the linseed …), an emotional rollercoaster, lots of rest, and copious amounts of water.
8 minutes to go … Off to eat the last bit of (brown with seeds in it) bread, polish off the remainder of hummus, and gulp … drink a last cup of good English tea with (soya?!) milk in for … for … 30 days.
