I order the Annotated Alice and it came a few days ago. It’s now sitting on my bedside table. I have a few other things to finish (popcorn books) and then I’ll tackle this.
How to read "Alice in Wonderland"
How I did it: Normally i read the same books over and over, but i decided that i wanted to read Alice in wonderland and absolutley loved it. It showed me that i should try different things more often because i'll probably like them.

This was one of my mom’s favorite books but I never read it all the way through. She died this year so NOW I want to read it. First I will have to get a copy, because hers (it was a slipcased set with original illustrations) has somehow vanished.
is pretty good so far. I just got through with the first chapter and it’s really good. I look forward to finishing it. :-)

When it comes to disney, Alice is my favorite, not the princesses but the story of alice and wonderland. I wish they gave it more attention.
New Isabella is watching for flooding...
I have been having a very bad day, and developed a very bad headache, and a book that I was reading this morning contained the following quote:
“I’m very brave generally, only today I happen to have a headache.”
—Tweedledum in Lewis Carroll’s “Through the Looking Glass”
Actually I hardly ever feel brave, but I’m usually good at hiding it from others and even from myself. My method of hiding it from myself is to avoid the things that scare me. However, since fooling around with 43things this past week and trying to face some real problems that have been piling up like Mount Vesuvius, I need another excuse to avoid—and voila, an awful headache appeared today.

- First line from "Jabberwocky"alice in wonderland is one of those books that you can only fully understand as an adult like catcher in the rye. i read this in high school but i want to re-visit the mind of lewis carrol.
I love the book. I own over 30 different copies of Alice in Wonderland, and in 5 different languages! Ranging in years from 1945 to 2006! I love it!
Alice in Wonderland has always been one of my favorite stories. When i was little i didnt want to be a princess like Cinderella, i wanted to be Alice in Wonderland.
