read "Blink"

I tried and it started out too slow. I am gonna pass on this one.

I’ve heard The Tipping Point is better.

I think one of the most interesting things was the analysis of marriage strength based on nonverbal communication such as eye rolls as indicators of contempt. Wish I’d read that sooner because it would have been useful for some now divorced people that I know.

Gladwell sometimes belabors his point, but overal, an interesting read.

Didn’t think I would like it, but he has very many interesting examples of the power of thinking without thinking.

I read ‘The Tipping Point’ first, and liked it better. Blink is great too, though.

Thin-slicing a face. You know, I think I do that all the time.

Approx $800 a year per inch of height. I’m screwed!

So interesting to see it is the subject of a book. I’m on chapter 1

I realize that many of the things that were written in Blink were essentially common sense, but it’s nice to read how someone else sees things. I think that is always interesting and worthwhile.

The book DID sound good. And it was interesting and well written. But the whole time I kept thinking: Yeah, so?
