    Oh no... 2 years ago

Is it 2007 already? Well, I read 4 books. :) This year will be different. I already have a great line-up, and if I ever finish Crime and Punishment (which will count as part of 2007), then I’ll be off to a good start.

Oh the shame! 2 years ago

I’ve become such a shocking reader! This is something that I’m definately going to turn around in 2007 :)

Julie Anne Peters- Define "Normal" 2 years ago

Girly teen angst to a tee. Pretty good little twist in it, good words and choppy like teen thoughts. Liked it, it was short and sweet.

Cruise Control- Terry Trueman 2 years ago

Have you ever read a book that was so bad, that you had to read the second one to try and give the author the benefit of the doubt? Well, that’s what this was, a pity read. and I must say, it was not worth it. This book sucked. The idea behind the first one (stuck in nutral) wasnt to bad, but this was horriable. I finished it though, to see if it ever got better. But it didnt.

Seeds of Yesterday- V.C Andrews 2 years ago

This series was awesome entertainment. This was a nice wrap up book, not to bad. I must say I enjoyed the first one much more, but this really did do a good job of tying the rest of the Foxworth knots.

Waterfall Nymph on the verge of using her Christmas avatar

    Recap 3 years ago

    4 young adult books
    2 rereads

Not one work I could consider serious or challenging in anyway. Hmm. Will try to improve self next year but yay anyway!

15 - Thus Was Adonis Murdered 3 years ago

This is a reread but I read it several years ago and honestly did not remember how or why the murder was done until the very end.

Such a fun book with such amazing language – everyone is so eloquent all the time. And who doesn’t like a story in which a smart woman goes off for a holiday of having hot meaningless sex with men… and nothing sad comes of it (well, murder, but not hers). A nice change from moralizing.

14 - Sorcery and Cecelia or The Enchanted Chocolate Pot: Being the Correspondence of Two Young Ladies of Quality Regarding Various Magical Scandals in London and the Country 3 years ago

What a great book! Sure, I could see some of the pot twists coming, but I’m a bit above the suggested reading level. Very well written, funny, great plot and characters….. Could not put it down!

Probably the best book I’ve read this year. A book that when you finish it you say, “I wish I’d written that!”

I can only hope the sequel is half as good.

Homeopathy and Minerals by Jan Scholten
This is a really popular homeopathic book outlining Scholten’s theories of grouping remedies by themes. I did enjoy it, but I read it rather sporadically and need to go over it again.

I like his method, but must admit that I think i’d find this more interesting when applied to the plant remedies. A great book though!
