i want to have a really full beard
How to grow a full beard
How I did it: Just stopped shaving for 2 months. I did trim here and here once in a while to not keep it that messy, but it was great to wake up and not having to shave. It's priceless.
Make sure before you start that they won't fire you from your job because you have a beard.
Lessons & tips: It itches at first. Bad. Get used to it. People will look at you in a weird way. Friends will either love or hate it. You cannot care.
Don't use scissors to trim it, it'll make it look all chopped up.
Resources: hair trimmer, self esteem.

Fact is, even if I don’t have the excuses of needing to look presentable at work and the fact that my wife won’t kiss me with a beard – I personally am dying to shave after 5-6 days.
At this time I just prefer a smooth me.
Maybe the rough and hainry me will come out at a later date.
I’m removing this as I only want to have goals that I’m actually keen to work on.
I can grow on my chin and down my neck a little bit, but my facial hair just doesn’t want to grow fully up my jaw and up my sideburns. Its really wierd.
I’m not going to give up on this, but I’m going to wait until it’s cooler. At the moment, I’m even sweating when I’m sat down – can you imagine how much extra moisture I’d lose by having fur all around my chops?
I also need to publicly thank Coupland for his tips on stopping the itching. It worked, mate! But I still shaved my fledgling beard off because it was too hot.
I got it to about 4, maybe 5mm, over the weekend. But itch? Aiiee! It was like having facial chicken pox.
I’m not going to give up yet, I’ll have another crack this weekend. I reckon if I can get it past the 10mm stage, the itching will stop.
I’ve had a goatee before, but I’ve never had the patience to grow a full beard. I’m going to do this straight after my “evening in drag” thing.
The only downside is that I work in a private school, and any kind of facial hair is frowned upon unless you’re one of the academics. I’ll have to do it through the summer. That could be awful, but as I live in Wales, the beard will keep me warm.
That’s given me an idea for another one of my things…
