go to Europe before I turn 30

Well, I did it. I’m in England,and I’m still 29. I spent five days in London and now I’m in Leicester, which is where I’ll be staying for the duration of my study abroad trip. Sadly, I can’t say I’ve seen too much. I was jet lagged and sick when I arrived in London, so I spent most of my stay in my hotel room resting, reading, and watching movies on my laptop. I did manage to get to Hyde Park, Kensington Palace, and the Victoria and Albert Musuem on my last day there, and I walked all around Kensington High Street. I’ll go back though. It’s not like London is terribly far away or anything.

I leave in eleven days!

and I’m off to England!

and in less than one month, I’ll be in England! I’m super broke now, but it’s totally worth it. I am so so excited.

I’m flying to England at the beginning of January, and words cannot even describe how excited I am about going.

I never made a big list of things I wanted to do before I turned 30. There’s always been just one thing on my list—go to Europe. Well, today is my 29th birthday. I have one year left to get myself off to Europe (and have a fabulous time of course). However, it looks like my study abroad trip to Europe in the spring is going to work out, so I think this is a goal I can accomplish. I won’t consider this goal completed until I’m actually there. First chance I get, I’ll go to some internet cafe in England. Then I’ll come to this website and happily mark this as accomplished, a life long dream will be fulfilled. I can’t wait.
