It is so satisfying and really gets the blood flowing! It’s a great stress reducer. I have the class on my longest day of classes, so that is a plus!
How to kickbox
How I did it: I've been kickboxing for a year now. It's a lot of hard work. It's a lot of cardio. I used to weigh 240 lbs. Im 6'0. Now I weigh 170. I also goto the gym everyday too. Get off your butt and do it. You'll love it.

offers this class at THE WORST TIMES. They only have the classes at 5:45a when I wake up for work or 5:30p, 45 minutes before I get out of work (I work a split shift). Seriously!!! Come on!!!

I was all excited because I thought I’d be able to cross this goal off my list, and of COURSE something hinders me. There have been four classes so far, and I went to the first two. In between the second and third one, my hip started hurting, and it did not get better. I’ve seen two doctors about it, and I think the conclusion is that I’ve somehow hurt a muscle since I’m more active this semester than usual (I’m taking a badminton class as well, and let me tell you we work up quite a sweat). It’s been two and a half weeks and the anti-inflammatory pills haven’t been much help. Anyway, I can’t drop badminton since I’m taking it for credit. Kickboxing, however, is an extracurricular, so I may have to give it up to give my hip a chance to rest in between badminton classes. I’m going to see if I can transfer my kickboxing fee over to the second session and pay the difference for the two weeks I’ve already attended. I’m crossing my fingers.

I want to do this so bad because, since I want to lose weight, it burns tons of calories- plus, it’s fun!
I have a membership at the Y which offers Kick-boxing as an excersize class. I was getting really good at it until I broke my foot, and found out I was pregnant. Now I haven’t been in weeks. I feel so sluggish. I love the feeling I get right after I finish kick-boxing. I feel so energetic and as though I could conquer the world. As soon as my foot heals, I am going to start back again.

I did this for 5 years when I was younger, Its just a shame I haven’t got the time anymore because I wrok full time, maybe when Ive got a job that pays more and is a little but more free when it comes to time lenth. x x x x x

My friend Becky from work actually suggested it cos she’s feelin rubbish after her auntie died, so I’m doing it for her to keep her company and to have fun. I actually went to classes wen I was younger but then I gave up cos I was too busy with college, etc. Now I cant wait, Im not gonna beat anyone up but maybe my ex boyfriend and his new girlfriend if I bump into them – lol – only messin. Not worth it. xxxxxx
Ive been going almost every day or nine weeks and Im addicted! I lost about three inches off my waist and I fit into clithes I havent worn in years. And I feel great. I just want to get stronger and build endurance. And spar! I love this sport!!!
