This isn’t exactly getting a whole novel published but I am getting a story into a book, “Ravens in the Library”. It’ll be out later this month and my story sits alongside stories done by Holly Black, Neil Gaiman, Charles deLint, etc. It’s a first BIG step in the right direction.
Until then, I’m working on editing TOUCHED for possible publication.

switzerland has realized what a difference confidence makes.
National Novel Writing Month finally found a self publishing company, that’s willing to publish all the novels of people who won NaNo last year.
they’ll publish the novels for free and send them free of charge to each person.
this means I can have a copy of the novel I wrote last year! which is really exciting.
the thing is, I have to finish editing my old novel within six months, or the offer won’t be good anymore.
still, this is something i want. so i know i’ll be able to finish it.

I have been working on a novel for about 4 years and have never taken it too seriously—I figure that it will never get published and that I do it just for fun. But is that just me being scared and unwilling to really try?

Adrienne will be absent while taking strides for goal #1.
Just a little note that one thing I’ve always wanted to do was write a novel. Thanks to Nanowrimo (.com) in 2003 I did write a novel. Now, my goal is to write one that gets published.
