    Easy Curry 2 years ago

I can’t claim that cook authenic curry but it is really good and here are the recipies that I use.

    Crock Pot:
1 block of curry {sold in the supermarkets. I use the meduim)
vegetables: I sue onion, garlic, mushrooms and anything else that I have laying around
    140z can of diced tomates
    beef or chicken
beef or vegetable broth 1 box.
Turn crockpot on low and add chopped curry and 1/4 cup of broth making a paste. Add the chopped veggies and beef. I usually brown the beef before adding but you don’t have to.
Add can of tomatos w/out juice. Use the rest of the broth to make rice. Cook on low till beef and veggies are tender. It depends on the crock pot but it will usually take about 5 to 6 hours.

    Stove Top
In a small sauce pan add the chopped curry to a 1/2 cup of broth and melt the curry into a paste adding extra water as needed. In another pot fry the beef. When beef is done cooking take out beef leaving a little fat in the pan in order to cook the veggies. Cook the veggies in the leftover fat. When done add the beef and the curry mixture. It takes about 30 minutes but the longer it sits the better it tastes. Make rice with the leftover broth.
