We did not win but we had a lot of fun.

There were about seven teams, none of whom knew the others. We all received a map of the museum and a list of 24 puzzles to solve.

A typical item would direct you to a gallery or other area, such as an atrium and say something like: Find an exhibit that looks like a Quiddich team minus the brooms. How many of them are there? We looked up and counted six of the people pictured here fling high above us. We had 90 minutes to complete the 24 items and sax some wonderful works of art in the process.

We had several errors and a couple of guesses when we could not figure out the answers. (There was no “guessing penalty.”) It was a fun time.

We are scheduled to take our nieces on this Harry Potter themed scavenger hunt next weekend at Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts. We’ve been watching Harry Potter movies all week. (The uncle and aunt version of cramming.)
