One to Dubya on closing Guantanamo Bay, six to various countries calling for a global arms trade treaty, and one to the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo calling for an end to intimidation of journalists.
I also joined the Urgent Action network.
With the mag that arrived in the post the other day, there was a flyer from a place called Appeals Worldwide that writes the letters for you (for a fairly modest fee), and am wondering about signing up to this. I know it’s a bit of a cop-out but it would mean the letters actually get done. Anyone else tried these people or have any views?
