sometime in my pregnancy, i stopped drinking coffee. this wasn’t because i thought drinking a cup or two would hurt the baby. rather, some time in my pregnancy, coffee no longer tasted good to me. i didn’t like it anymore. so i stopped. thank goodness (i give this one up to the Lord), i didn’t feel any caffeine withdrawal symptoms, e.g. really bad headaches or moodiness. now, i’m staying away from it because my baby doesn’t need any help staying awake, by getting any caffeine from coffee while nursing.

and the occasional Diet Pepsi. I guess that’s just the way it’s going to be for now! I’ve cut way down, and that’s good enough for now while I’m working at other things. I might eventually try to get off the coffee altogether, but that will be a future goal.

No soda. Just water. Wow. I guess I will eventually try to get down to 1 C a day and so on! I actually have more energy. Interesting.
