We took our family to Italy last summer. It was sooooo incredible. We were in Rome for about five days…the Vatican was the most beautiful building….but all of the architecture that we saw was breathtaking. We then went down to Sicily (my husband’s family is from Corleone !!!!) We did not stay there (can you imagine why?) but we did drive down to a little town called Cefalu. That was our favorite place. Our hotel was located right off the coast of the Meditteranean Sea. Our kids got to go swimming in the sea. They had stone streets with tons of little shops and unbelievable small restaurants. My husband and I are going to go back for a second honeymoon (without the kids this time).
I highly recommend a trip.

I went on holiday to Bibeone and Venice in Italy when I was 7, but I really didn’t appreciate it enough. I’d love to go back there now that I’m older.
the wedding was lovely (and a rather long time ago now!) and I’m off back to italy in July to hang out on the beach with my family…huzzah!
should also be getting italian satellite channels soon to help me learn the language a little better.
well. my cousin is getting married in June and the wedding is in Italy so I’ve nearly accomplished this goal!
my fiancee is from there so this is an obvious goal, though doesn’t stop me enjoying it :)
I went in high school and have always wanted to go back. Italy is a beautiful place.
