See the Great Pyramids

I’ve booked the trip for this February. Will be spending a week in London then flying to Cairo for a few days. Then a two week tour of Egypt. I will be leaving from Seattle on February 15, 2010 – that’s three days after the Olympics starts here in Vancouver.

I’ve been to the pyramids…dunno…there not much to do other than marvel at the engineering genius of those egyptian ppl…plus there’s a lot of interesting history behind the thing….its just a great experience..

Visiting the Great Pyramids was a lifetime dream for me and was worth every minute. It made me feel so minute, insignificant and humble to be in the presence of such almighty structures. Go, go, go, its definitely worthwhile.

Back in 1999 I had the idea of celebrating the millenium by being at the Pyramids at midnight on January 1, 2000. It seemed so romantic a dream. While I was never able to fulfill that plan, I still have the visit at the top of my wish list of places to go…

Absolutely awed! people are great fun too.

Since I can remeber there were 5 places I Always wanted to go see: Mt. St. Michel in france (done), Rome (Done), Athens (done), Africa (Madagascar, done) and See the Great Pyramids!
Howerver, since then I have probably added about another 100 other place I want to get to before I die.
