Sewed a little bit at the end of the school year. Didn’t sew at all in the summer, but I am going to my first Sewing Meet Up next weekend. Can’t wait.

Agent77 cleaning up my list
well I’ve bought a sewing machine. mind you it’s a tiny craft one. now I just have to figure out how to you use it. lol
Well, I bought one today. Now it’s just a matter of learning to use it.
I bought the machine for my daughter (who also wants to learn to sew) and now what? I kinda remember how to thread a bobbin (from jr. high home ec) but need to progress from there. Any suggestions? I’ll check out the other posts.

Well this was a good idea, but doesn’t fit with my plans to declutter and shed possessions. It just takes up too much space, and certainly isn’t mobile.
So, this goes off the list for a few years. Maybe when I want to settle down I’ll give this another go.
My friend Missy purchased a great old-school Singer at a garage sale and handed it down to me. i hope it works!
I just bought by first sewing machine after wanting to for the last 4 years. Only problem…I don’t know how to use it. If any one knows some one in the Buffalo, NY, area, who can teach me I would be extremely grateful.
I bought a sewing machine when I was pregnant with my first child (11 years and 3 kids ago) and took classes. It has been a great thing for me- besides the great stuff I’ve made, it gave me a form of meditation that has been very useful. Plus, I can make Halloween costumes, which is highly impressive to my kids.
Actually, I already know how to sew, but I haven’t made anything in a couple years because I don’t have a machine.
