How to learn a Korean karaoke song, including the hangul lyrics by smileypgg

"Learning just one song is not that hard. You just need to have the right tools!"

How I did it: I learn to a song that I really like over and over.  And since I can read hangul, I pull the lyrics and follow along.  But that's not enough.  You need to understand the meaning so you feel the song and can memorize it.  I look up word by word in dictionary to get the meaning.  After you understand the meaning and you listen to the song over and over again, provided that you know Hangul already, I can memorize the song and sing in Karaoke.

Lessons & tips: I know it's not as easy as I said.  So I have started a blog to help others who like Korean songs.  Since I am not fluent myself, I am pretty much documentation what I learn along the way and share with others.

    First thing I know about Korea is the serial drama. The first drama I’ve seen is All About Eve where I fell in love with Jang Dong Gun, then Endless Love which made me cry the whole times, not because of sad love story of the main characters, but because Won Bin couldn’t get the girl he loved.

    Since then, I found out that the soundtracks of those dramas are meaningful and give a significant contribution to building up the emotion of the viewers. That’s why I mostly love Korean songs based on the soundtrack.
