I mean of course I always greeted my parents and inlaws with hugs and kisses, but it wasn’t until my ex sister in laws started me getting used to the idea that It was accepted. My family never did this apart from the Parentals.
My second husband has taken this goal and run with it and whenever we go to rock n roll dances he spends half the night kissing and hugging all the women in greeting.
As a result my friends have now adopted this ritual and whenever they enter my home it’s a race to see who can kiss first my friends kiss us or my husband kiss them, it’s a fun thing when you get used to it…...

I come from a touchy feely family and this is how it always is. At least between men and women. The guys just give a manly hug. :-)
Either way, that is how I greet anyone I am close to. :-)

I have lots of friends who greet with kisses. Maybe because I married a guy who’s part Greek, and his whole family is very kissy. It just became a habit. Start with hugs if it feels more comfortable. People love it! Then move on to a kiss on the cheek goodbye. Good luck!
