it requires having a lot of patience, really Listening, reading body language, and remembering to think before you speak!
There was a situation during a car ride on Friday afternoon where I really got to practice this…
I’d never heard of the term “EQ” until a close friend of mine brought it up about two years ago. I think it’s a great quality to have; it makes communication (of all kinds) so much easier and more fluid. Less time wasted. I also think that people with good (high?) EQ are easier to get along with and much more likable on the whole.
Something neat to work toward.
