How I did it: We lucked out. I was stalking the airfare for a couple of months and when it dropped, I knew it was the right time to buy. We got tickets to go NY- Venice and then Rome- NY for just $410 each! It was so amazing. I am glad the door is open for me now.
I will be coming back with my daughter next summer.

I leave in one week. I am so happy.
I will have the trip of my dreams.
Life is wonderful. I am checking things off my “43 things”
I am spending a spectacular time doing what I dreamed of doing.
And, the Italy leg is with my friend I made the pact with. We lived up to it and that means so much.

Later, when I was an undergrad, my sister and I signed up for a semester in Italy—soooooooooooooooo the best way to do it! You really learn to speak Italian, and you get to LIVE there! Just sign up for it, and a way will make itself!
I have family members in Italy. My mother’s cousins. I would love to see italy, I am going in April it sounds so wonderful. It would be great to find others to go with. Just to see Florence, Rome, and Venice would be exciting.
Life is like a baseball game. You can hit full speed ahead and get a grand slam. Or you can just sit there waiting for something to happen, and miss.
When life knocks, run and answer! Don’t just sit here and let yourself sink in to a hole waiting for something to happen and let it pass by! Explore, go places! Live life to the fullest and DON’T waist it! Just live your life!
My dad invited me to go to Italy with him but it probably won’t be until 2011. I hope we end up going. I’m not too concerned about seeing the “touristy” places, though that will be nice. about 80% of me is Italian so I hope to see the places my family is from and meet some locals.
