Compiling my writings 3 years ago

I am trying to assemble all my breasty writings in one place so that I can make a single encouraging resource – not a medical resource, since I don’t write advice much, but an encouraging one. I have a feeling it might be useful

    Hope it helps.

I’ve been joining in on breastfeeding forums, and writing little essays in my journal about breastfeeding. That’s a start.

And I joined La Leche League. I’m alreayd a member of the NCT.

And I made myself some tshirts and things but I can’t afford to buy them yet. http://www.cafepress.com/ailbhe

I’ve been posting on the Breastfeeding board there today, trying to encourage people.

The lack of faith some people have in their ability to feed their babies is so sad :(

A great gift to give - in itself a gift to me! 4 years ago

I am so lucky to be able to breastfeed my daughter. She’s just ove rone now and we’re still going strong. It has enriched my life and it’s so much easier than formula for us. It’s a universal comfort; it soothes us both. It makes sure we spend a little quiet time together every day, however hectic life gets. It’s gorgeous.
