I can’t tape all albums I have re-listen to – that would take me too long – but I’m still very committed to this goal.
I’m currently listen to Maria Taylor’s debut album 11h11. She’s from Azure Ray and she’s amazing :)
This morning at work I listened to Kasabian’s last album (Empire), and Cat Power (The Greatest). Next will be Corinne Bailey Rae.
This is one of the most pleasant thing in my list of 43things. Every evening I listen to old albums through my computer and rediscover them while reading, cleaning, cooking or even drawing. I love it !
On Sunday I started to listen to a few albums I have :
1. The National – Boxer
2. Maps – We can create
3. Editors – An End Has A Start
4. Rosie Thomas – These Friends of Mine
As you can see I started with recent albums. I wasn’t in the mood for listening to my teenager years music.
Yesterday (Monday):
I was busy so I only listen to :
1. Metallic Falcons – Desert Doughnuts (amazingly inspiring album)
2. The Blow – Paper Television
I do not even want to count how many albums I have left. Some of them are even in the attic lol.
People who know me, know that i can’t live without music and that I own too many CDs… I want to listen AGAIN to every album I own since I’m a child, even the shitty ones. The reason of this goal – which will definitely last for months – is to see my evolution in music taste and also make my good or bad memories more vivid through albums who had a great impact in my life.
I can’t wait to rediscover who I was !

...there wasn’t so much good music in the world, this would be easy. But it’d be boring!
A pair of CDs were made for me that have just knocked my socks off. So I’m trying to incorperate this goal into my reciprocal CD. We’ll see if any progress is made.
