didnt read the back really, but it doesnt matter! i need to read them!
In high school (10 years ago now) I was a voracious reader…I read everything EXCEPT what I was supposed to be reading. In college, I lost the desire to read for pleasure…although I was finding pleasure in reading the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, and The Economist. Now, though, I have little desire to read anything, except when I fly. I need to take time to read again. I was so aware back then, and now I feel as though I am the stoopidest person on earth.

I’m not big on english but i like to read. I want to start reading again. I believe that it would exspand my vocabulary and free my mind. Novels are my favoret they let my drift away from reality and be in someone elses shoes for a chapter or two.
nurnoteson is just surviving :)
I used to be a heavy reader. I remember that it was like falling in love; I used to wait all day long to find ten minutes before falling asleep or the coffee break to read a couple more pages, a few more words. It’s been more than a year since the last time it happened to me.
I realy miss that. Sad. Isn’t it?
SECOND_TIME_AROUND Doing what it takes to lose!
For me it was the Harry Potter book. I could not understand what all the fuss was about. Wow! What writting imagnation. I then thought other books might be good too. I like Oprah so, I thought she probably has good taste in books. I now am reading her Book Club List and other books.
And I’ve listened to three audiobooks too! But that’s not the kind of “reading” that’s the most nourishing and important to me. It’s just the cherry on top.
Marking this goal complete. Ahh, it feels so good to be reading again! And it’s great to always have a book to grab when I’m, say, going to pick someone up at the airport.
Sure, it was a short one: less than 200 pages. But it’s the first book I have read in a long time. However, I won’t mark this as complete until I have demonstrated that the habit will continue.
Actually I think this is one of my favorite moments of reading life: after I have finished one book, but before I have chosen what to read next. Ahh, the possibilities are endless!
: )
Usually it’s really a little; a few pages and I’m konked out. It’s going to take a long time to finish a book this way!
