I may not have read them all, but I certainly took inventory and noted the ones I had not read and organized them into a chronological future reading order. Exciting! It’s easy with Librarything and my Cuecat scanner!

The bargain bin. We have a real problem here. I cannot leave my local Chapters (like Barnes and Nobel) without an entire bag of books. I’m even bad for magazines. Unfortunately I’m not realstic about the amount of time that it requires to read said books. Being an art teacher I’m always picking up quirky books under the guise that it will “make a good lesson.” Then, it sits, (Like “the history of Spam) on the bookshelf, ignored until the yearly move, when I briefly glance at it. I WILL read MY books rather than continuing to accumulate more…

Ok I have a small library in my dining room with more bookcases in the computer room. It comes from being a bookstore employee for 4 years. A book would come in for the bargain table by an author I enjoy so I would grab it and add it to the pile for that day when I had some spare time. Well that day is just never going to happen, so I might as well start reading. Don’t get me wrong; I’ve read a majority of what I own but it has been a while on most, and my reading habits have slacked a bit, but not now! In 3 months I have finished off 10 books, which isnt even a percentage of what I own, but its a start.
