learn to drive a big rig

My Pap, was a truck driver…I used to go to his house and he’d let me play in the cab when I was a boy..I keep a CB in my car and I love to listen and talk to the truckers…I really respect them for the job that they do…American tradition..they keep the country moving and they are an interesting breed of men. I am greatly intimidated by the vehicle itself though…especially after hearing and reading many horror stories about truck driving…for example…having to back up for hundreds of feet to tiny loading docks in tiny alleys in the middle of major cities, all the while holding up traffic as you back in…plus the accidents and cops and lousy drives…oh yeah and the time pressure and such…still interested though…who says ya gotta do it for a living…I’d just like to drive one…
