get a picture published by Jones Soda

I submitted several photos a few years ago. I logged in today to check on them and found out that one of them is a staff pick! Not on a label yet but still pretty cool!

I don’t know how many times I’ve told myself that I wanted to do this. I think I even tried through my blackberry but it didn’t take.
I’ll try it again another time, but since seeing this goal, I’ll definitely try it.

well, after the last entry (a couple down from this one) i managed to get that halloween photo published. they sent me the labels, it will be on a special halloween edition soda called “dread apple.”
can’t wait to see it!

I submitted more photos on the site. They feature my dog, Roger. Maybe they will have more luck.

After posting photos to the website like mad when I was a teenager and seeing no one ever votes reasonably (I didn’t have any pictures rated higher than a 3) I gave up on this goal. Thought whatever they see in other people’s picture they don’t see in my pictures. So the last time I put anything on their site was 3 years ago. This month I got the labels in the mail of my photo on a bottle of pure cane cola!! WOW.

I posted my pics but now am having a crisis of self-confidence and want to pull them off.

It helps that someone voted for them and gave them a score better than 5, but still.

This doesn’t seem very likely for me. But it would be cool.

But I did get some quick ones up (well, the same one) of the tangerines. Nothing huge, but I sort of thought that if they were ever looking for full-color orange, the winter tangerines were it.

I promise I actually took the time to turn the tangerines so their prettier sides were up and no stickers were showing and all that jazz.

I am by no means a photographer, but I figure this will encourage me to get out and about more often. Today I created an account and submitted three photos.
