get a new Mac

I am a designer. And I think a Mac would really fit that picture :-) I’ve always wanted a Mac. I just can’t afford one. But I will someday. In the meantime, you can always donate whatever you want to donate on http://www.macdesperate.com :-P

I got my new MacBook Pro! :D

Well, it wasn’t brand new. It was a eMac from a coworker. He was upgrading because his wife needed an Intel chip Mac for some specialized software, and there was lots of life left in his. It would have been nice to get a new one … but this does the trick quite nicely!

It’s sad to see the original Bondi Blue iMac go … it was a good trooper for 8.5 years!

Woohoo! I love this thing!

Don’t know which one yet.

I want a Mac Mini for our media center (I have started making inroads into the consolidation and organization of our video and music files, which are currently spread haphazardly across 5 different hard drives - I think it will all eventually go onto one nice big SATA drive - with a twin for backups of course) and I’d like a shiny new 24” iMac for my office. Oh, and we mustn’t forget the MacBook for when I want to hit the road and remain connected and productive.

I can dream, can’t I? :)

My current Mac is an original Bondi Blue iMac – a full two days older than my oldest child! It works great, so I don’t have a compelling need to upgrade now … but it would be fun to have the latest and greatest!

I was finally able to get a new Mac, WOO HOO!! I got the new Mac Book Pro, it’s a little expensive but worth it.
