I love him dearly. We have been together for 9 months and I cant believe how lucky I am, how wonderful our relationship is and how supportive he is. He is the first person who has really seen me the way I have wanted to be seen. He appreciates all the little things in me as I do in him. However, I want to make sure that I do lots of little things throughout the rest of the months to our 1 year anniversary, to show him how much I love him. I am not sure what new I can do. I have given him a lovely surprise candlelit dinner which was much loved. Emails to tell him I am thinking of him, cooking his fave meal. Making a yummy breakfast of pancakes, sometimes a dessert of some kind. A sweet card telling him how special he is.
I am thinking this month, I will possibly do something more like a post it in his briefcase telling him I love him. Maybe a special delivery to his office, I am not sure. Any ideas are welcome

SOOOO….WE HAVE BEEN TOGETHER FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS…WELL ON MY BIRTHDAY IN MAY IT WILL BE 2 YEARS.. WE USED TO BE SO AFFECTIONATE..AND THEN I GUESS IT KINDA SLIPPED AWAY! WE DO LOVE EACHOTHER STILL..I JUST WANT MORE NEW WAYS TO SHOW HIM! LIKE THE LAST ONE I DID WAS FOR VALENTINES DAY…I ORDERED AND CUSTOMIZED A GAME CALLED LOVOPOLY! HE LOVED IT..I HAD TO SUBMIT PICS OF US AND 22 OF OUR FAVORITE PLACES TO GO..AND HE JUST ATE IT UP! IT BROUGHT BACK SO MANY MEMORIES FROM THE PAST, AND THEN WE JUST STARTED TALKING ABOUT ALL OF THE GOOD TIMES WE HAD..AND IT MADE THE RELATIONSHIP FEEL ENW AGAIN!
...which isn't very much.

anyway, i feel like i used to do more little things to show him that i care. i guess when our relationship was more new i was more afraid of losing him, so i would put a lot of effort into little stuff. or something. (now i still couldn't stand to lose him, but it seems less likely.)
but the main reason for trying to do little nice things is to make him feel loved and happy. and i still want to do that. i have a couple ideas, but i dunno. let's see:
- sing something on his voicemail - i'd have to make sure he would be busy when i called to do this. he has two exams today (that crazy school of his has them saturdays! :p) but i'm afraid he might forget to turn off his phone during them, and i wouldn't want to interrupt. and what if i mess up? we're comfortable with each other so i could just start over i guess. and what if the phone makes it sound weird? well, i guess i could blame any weird-soundingness on the phone. :p
- pick out a good spot to go exploring and make plans to go there - we used to go wandering around buildings, trying to get up on roofs and just look around. (we had shared journeys leading to beautiful views, sigh. :p) but it hasn't been as convenient since our relationship is currently long distance and our visits are always too short (of course, any time together less than living in the same place is too short!) so we haven't gotten around to it recently.
