I love competitive sports, even though I’ve always been a klutz. I really hope I can do this!

I was thinking about which kind of sports I’d be interested in doing as part of a team:
- Team pursuits & time trials (road and track cycling)
- Adventure racing
- Sailing
- Rowing
- Touch rugby
Of these, sailing seems the most interesting, mainly because of time commitments and because it’s something new for me.
Well, i’d been on a floor hockey team for a while, but i am stil teamless at the moment. I’ve tried, now and then, to get another floor hockey together, or even borrow the pads to join ice hockey.
Does fusbol count? I’m in a fusbol tournament…..
Okay, i’ll try harder in 2007.
I’ve never been what you would call a natural born sportwoman but I’ve always wanted to be good at sport. I joined the netball team 4 years ago and even though I found it difficult, I stuck with it. It’s well worth it, makes you feel better, is brilliant for your fitness and gives you amazing confidence.
I joined a co-ed soccer leauge. Although we lost our first game, I had a lot of fun. It has made me realize I need to get into better cardiovascular shape. So I’ve started running and made some necessary lifestyle changes. All is well :)
Track, soccer, or maybe even a rowing team. I miss the competition and comradery of team sports. I’ll start looking for spring since my fall semester is already spoken for, plus the fact I need to get into better shape.
yakuza ok, back again for a while.
I’ve been on a little league team and a bowling team when I was younger. In high school, I was on tennis, football, and ski team. In college, just ski team. Now I’m on a pool team and a softball team. The comraderie is great, and I think doing anything with any regularity will make you better at it.
I love sports but I’ve never been on a team. I would like to join volleyball or golf. I don’t know…
