...Ever since I got my pal into it (she has a car) she wants to go all the time. OK with me!! Since the main challenge in doing Bikram yoga regularly is just getting to the studio, I can now more easily overcome this challenge. (I live in Chicago without a car and have to take two trains to get to the nearest Bikram class.)
At 3-4x a week, I feel so clear-headed and energetic. Not to mention I’m getting pretty ripped… and I’m a curvy (not fat, CURVY) girl, so that’s saying something! Here’s hoping Sabby’s car, and her enthusiasm, keep running!!

went back last night for the first class in like, oh i dunno, 10 months? kicked my BUTT! good energy of the class and three new beginners, which is always promising energy, especially when one was my boyfriend who gave it a whirl on a whim. i still wonder if he knew what he was in for. hope he goes back…would be a wonderful healthy habit to have together.
here’s to keeping it up- at least 2 times a week! (i did buy a 10 class card but i was sort of a wuss and purchased the one with no expiry date. maybe i was just being honest? hee hee)

I was following a good path when I moved a few months ago but have totally fallen off track. Time to get back and get my whole being phyically and mentally back on track.
Not sure if I should go all out and try 5 days a week on my way to work or ease back into it…which would yield better results? Hmm…

So, I’ve got the once a week thing going on, but I think I should push for twice weekly.
Hurdles for this goal:
- Bikram yoga is expensive!
Solution: If I’m more careful with my money (hello goal #27!)in other areas I should be able to make it. - Bikram is time consuming! All in all, it take 3 hours out of my day.
Solution: Don’t know. It’s not just as simple as prioritizing. I’d go in the morning, but I’d have to leave the house at 5:30 am to go to the 6.15 class. Which means I’d be toast by 9 pm. Make that 8. Uhhh, 7 and that’s my final offer. - Bikram yoga is tiring!
Solution: Bikram says strap on a pair and quit whining.

Was Sunday and I’m going again today. Monday I was sick. Yesterday I had class. But I’ll make my 2x a week goal this week!

I found the only Dublin, Ireland studio today and took my first class. Holy moly, I thought I was going to die. I forget every time when I go back how hard going back is. I should just keep up with it and then it will get easier and I’ll reap more of the benefits.
I have the 10 day pass for 20 Euro (after that it is 17 Euro a class!) so I hope to go at least 5 days a week. Perhaps even 2 classes tomorrow. This could be a great jump start on my taking better care of myself thang.
