Keeping it simple,
Love photography and wish to become a published photographer.
Some random images of Scotland…..
How I did it: I took this picture on the off-chance. It is not the best picture in the world, by any means, but it caught the eye of an editor working on a visitor's guide for my city. It is also not the first picture I've had published, but it works well to show how you can get publsihed.
Lessons & tips: Take many pictures and learn how to make them look how you want them to look.

I’ve been doing photography since I was 6 with disposables and Barbies as models haha! I really want to buy a nice Nikon or something and start doing photography, I have no camera right now but I think if I had the right equipment I could do great things.
Have always dreamed of doing travel photojournalism for National Geographic. Probably not going to happen, but I can dream :)
Houston. It’s Worth It. is an organization that takes the difficulties of living in Houston and makes it compelling reasons of why Houston is such an amazing city.
I turned in 5 photographs that I think speaks about how amazing Houston is and three of them were published.
This is a dream come true.

I wish to publish real photos, art photos. I have been published online from photographing concerts and celebrities but it is no fun and there is no heart in it. It is just a job. Now I want to make something, create something that is beautiful and will touch people’s souls for a long time. I don’t want a photography job, and I don’t want money. I just want to spread the art.
I have been thinking about books. I think after I have been to Africa and photographed a lot (happy and sad) I would make that in to a book and do some writing as well. Like a really big article, but with artistic photos rather than front-page-news-photos if you know what I mean, they always want to highlight the worst of the world to make people depressed.
I can even pay for and distribute it myself, in a small scale. Then in case it would become notised someone else might be able to make larger amounts of copies and sell. The profits would of course not go to me, but to Third World aid. I wish to be appreciated for my art, as well as do good. And I love Africa. So this is my first goal in becoming a published photographer.
Magic. 3 of my photos from the recent match against St. Johnstone were used in the Airdrie and Coatbridge Advertiser today. Delighted!
I took a phonecall from the local newspaper yesterday. They want to use 3 of my photographs from Airdrie United vs St. Johnstone game. From tomorrow morning, when the issue hits the stands, I should be able to mark this off as “done”. Of course, I’ll need to keep trying to do it again.
Well i got a email that my photo was picked to be published in the 2006 Photography Anthogoly thru Photo laureates. I was so happy until I looked for a place to purchase the manuscript. Then it happened many comments that Circle of photographer is a scamming site. I am in the process of trying to get to the bottom of this big question.
so i really wanted to be published in some big important national magazine but this is a start, i was published in the april version of UC Berkeley’s California Patriot….its a start.
