buy a leather sofa

It was a gift, so I didn’t actually achieve this goal.

i opted for a used brown leather couch from ikea.
i love it… even though it was a pain in the ass to get up 5 flights of stairs.

the guy on craigslist will save this sofa set for me!
i had to offer $100 more… but he will save it until i get moved to spokane. yay!!!!!!!

i found this one on craigslist.
i’m waiting for an email back.
if it isnt already taken, i’m going to offer them more money to hold it for me until i get to spokane.

ordered a black leather 3 seater from DFS last night, should be here in 8 to 10 weeks, maybe sooner…

I’ve tested it out for sleeping – i often fall asleep on the couch!

We actually ordererd a leather sofa online.

Gorgeous Pottery Barn Manhattan sofa in dark chocolate brown. But I’m only taking to LA what’ll fit in the ReloCube, so my housemate might get to keep it.

The only way to kill a good leather sofa is to drop it down the stairwell or hit it with a truck.

My leather couch is black, a three seater with an attached chaise/footstool type of thing. Comfortable!!!! Lengthwise, it’s long enough for me to stretch out and fall asleep watching tv. Otherwise, i sit in the main position with my feet up on the sticking out part…it’s fantastic.

I was surprised that it wasn’t that much more expensive than the fabric/upholstered couches i looked at and liked. It’s so easy to clean. It smells gorgeous when you walk in my house, and it says ‘style, class and decadence’ all in one.

But I think I prefer big, fluffy, barely-any-room-left-for-me-on-the-sofa pillows.
