ordered a black leather 3 seater from DFS last night, should be here in 8 to 10 weeks, maybe sooner…

My leather couch is black, a three seater with an attached chaise/footstool type of thing. Comfortable!!!! Lengthwise, it’s long enough for me to stretch out and fall asleep watching tv. Otherwise, i sit in the main position with my feet up on the sticking out part…it’s fantastic.

I was surprised that it wasn’t that much more expensive than the fabric/upholstered couches i looked at and liked. It’s so easy to clean. It smells gorgeous when you walk in my house, and it says ‘style, class and decadence’ all in one. 6 years ago

I just saw this on someone else’s list and joined in! I had forgotten how much I have always wanted a big old leather sofa. Would be great to find one in a deep, rich, redish brown thats a little broken in. I saw one at a moving sale a couple years ago and should have grabbed it. Now I’ll have to start saving a little money for it so I can be ready when opportunity knocks. 6 years ago

no one ever realizes you have to condition your leather furniture with leather lotion… i’m allergic to it so it was even more fun (heavily dripping with sarcasm). It is a comfy set but it isn’t cozy… cozy is nicer when it comes to furniture. Of course if you like a sleek clean ‘look at my dead cow skin’ furniture look, leather is a good choice. Oh and if you have a slave to rub it down with its lotion it would be even better. 6 years ago

I found a leather sofa at World Market on 50% off sale – it’s down to $500. It looks nice, although it’s rather small. I’m definitely considering it, although I wonder what sort of leather a cheap-ass sofa might be covered in. Rat skin, perhaps? 6 years ago
