told my boss in no uncertain terms that i did not want to take on a role that would almost certainly set back my future marketability – he understood completely – i won’t be in that role :)

My wife has asked me to be more dominant. Always asking what she wants, bending over backwards to satisfy her, etc. annoys her. She said that I needed to “put my foot down” more! Yikes! What does that mean? 5 years ago
