Worth doing!
When the sand is super hot and I don’t have any sandals on.
Or in Slow motion like Bo Derick, cause it’s kinda funny.

I did this last week at a beach in Ventura, CA. I went in the morning when the weather wasn’t too hot and it was still low tide. I ran barefoot on the wet sand of the shoreline…the water also washed up on my feet every now and then. The whole beach environment (sand, water, fresh air) felt so good and made for a good run. I want to do this again and more often…

but I ran in the sun on the beach, barefooted, and I met God. She was great. But be careful, it’s hard to run on sand, you have to be careful not to hurt yourself.

The beach is about an one-hour drive away, but I still want to do this. Somewhere in the early morning this must be great: fresh sea-air and nothing but the sound of the sea.
Worth doing!
My attempt to go running on the beach today failed. I got to the beach around 6am and it was very cold (I was wearing shorts because I didn’t want water to splash on my clothing). I went to another beach to wait for the weather to warm up a bit, but then I just decided to go home and put on some pants. I didn’t really feel like going back to the beach, so I went to a park that I haven’t ran/walked at before to satisfy my need for “change” today. The park’s trail is huge and had more hilly areas, so I felt the incline more. No regrets for not running on the beach today…I’ll try some other time…

that this was one of the most physically challenging things I’ve ever done. Jogging in the sand is hard!

I usually run/walk at one of the local park’s tracks, but lately I’ve been thinking about going for a run on the beach. Not on the boardwalk, but on the sand right by the water (shoreline). When I do go for a run on the beach (hopefully on Saturday), I plan to go barefoot.
