I didnt get a chance to give an update. But I did them the day after my first entry. They taste soo good.
How to bake cupcakes
It made me
hungry and proud 
"cupcakey goodness"
How I did it: I bought a lot of bits and pieces for decorating, a cupcake recipe book, and just got started.
Then I let my creative side go and decorated 3 types of cupcake in some cute cupcake cases.
I plan to make more with differing themes in the future :)
Lessons & tips:
- Get a decent cookbook with lots of colourful pictures to inspire you.
- Pick up a variety of adornments for the cupcakes, in the UK I like to get things from ASDA and Waitrose. I also got some nice pink silicone cases from the 99p store.
- Be creative.
- Try different things with the cupcake sponge aswell like putting a blob of fudge or chocolate sauce in the middle of the mix before you put in the oven.
- Make buttercream with actual butter - not spreads, in my experience they are too soft.
- Wait for the cakes to cool completely before decorating!
- Take pictures before you devour your work :)

That was the fastest ever 43 Things goal completed!
Mom and I baked cupcakes yesterday. We didn’t have any cupcake papers, so used these star tins, which were fine. We chose a german chocolate cupcake recipe and a mocha frosting. Yum. The frosting called for 1 Tsp of coffee, 1 Tblsp of instant coffee granules and 1 Tsp of Kahlua. It is super yummy.
The combination was perfect. I could get into this cupckae thing.

I’ve been reading a cupcake blog that has the coolest cupcakes. I want to make some pretty cupcakes. I think I’ll invite mom to do it as something for the two of us on Sunday.

I baked muffins a few times, but then got too lazy to make any icing so I didn’t think that would qualify this goal as completed. but i finally made some today. =] had to leave the icing off of half of them since not everyone in the house likes chocolate, blasphemous hos. the sprinkles are about 20 years old, but they looks pretty.

I’ve actually baked a batch for the 1st time for St Val’s for my bf & for my whole family. Got the recipe from the CupcakeFun website and got to work :D i’ve separated 6 of them and put them in a cute hatbox with a heart design ribbon and gave them to my bf as a gift
... the result of that was just as i had hoped ;)!!!!!!!

First time try today. Very easy recipe, very easy to make with my new electric whisk. 20 minutes in the oven and they taste great. Warm cakes are the best.
