& have added a couple of individual goals too.

I’ve made a huge change in my life yesterday by resigning from my job & shifting my focus. I’ve also done lots of smaller things since I’ve had this goal & a lot of thought processes have also been related.

I’m feeling like I have a new lease on life & to me that is what a make over is all about.

I also work on my self improvement so this is more like a life habit but I think the essence of this goal was the ‘dramatic’ aspect of my change.

Worth doing!

I half did my hair cut. Got the trim & a few layers done… then went & hada cup of tea. What a scatterbrain!

I plan to cut a few more layers in soon, might wait till I’ve henna’ed it this weekend ;)

Aside from that I have my boots and am now TALL. Ish.

A few of the other more mental & personal aspects of this goal have had a bit of progress as well. At least one room of our house should see improvement now that we have a plan. Yikes, the kitchen!

I am having an uber facial followed by a hair cut a la Lunacy. Yes, I always cut my hair myself pretty much & am just putting in some layers, leaving the length alone :)

I didn’t plan for a hair re-vamp as part of this goal but it is one prone to evolution.

Still working on the head. Been doing to much time with Caffeine…

Tailor + Polyvore!  — 3 months ago

I found a fun toy for building virtual outfits:

Also I found a tailor to put a Eurohem on my pants ($20) and maybe she can take in my linen jacket to make it younger looking ($?).

Worth doing!

So I went out at lunchtime & just decided to spend $100 on new, fresh clothing. 2x pure Merino tops, 1 black, 1 purple & 1x purple sparkly shrug & 1x black top that is semi Victorian influenced & warm & flattering of the boobs haha.

It was fun & kind of needed. I just hope that the tops are as warm as I am hoping they will be. I need to stop wearing the same hoodie over & over!

I do need to get sewing & make some skirts. I find that tops are easier to buy & skirts mostly easier to make IF you can find nice fabric!

I think though that when my boots arrive (they’ve shipped) I will be feeling like a whole new lady, skirts or not!

This sounds so materialistic but it really is well overdue, I rarely spend money on clothes for myself.

I’ve been thinking about this goal a lot this morning & it is actually SO much bigger that I ever realised when I set it in motion.

This goal interrelates with my spirit & my relationship with my self. & there is truly so much that I can work on. This goal & “Nurture my Spirituality” kind of go hand in hand.

I’ve got a lot of introspection to do. & writing.

Dairy, moooo! (Chases cows)  — 4 months ago

Lest you think I’ve given up on this, it’s still in the works, but I’ve been busy with other stuff too. I found a dream job and I’m running around like the proverbial headless chicken, trying to get everything together to apply.

But tomorrow I’m getting up bright an early, applying makeup and going to conquer the world (Bwahahaha), or at least know off the two important errands I need to run this week.

Worth doing!

I read a blog about fears around being ‘different’ & this particular person had felt trapped by those fears consciously or not for 35 years. They are realising that they cannot live like that anymore & that a complete reinvention of the self is necessary.

I feel a little like this, though I’ve often been ‘different’ from my peers & certainly am from my co-workers.

I feel like I put unnecessary limitations on myself at times. In the last year I’ve learned the grande lesson that anyone CAN do anything that they want. But then I wonder why I work the job I do through the day still which I guess is like a holding pen til I have the resources & the clarity to do something new. I’m not sure… I’m not sure yet what I ultimately want to do.

Slowly I will chip away, as we all do, learning & removing all that is not me. I feel like personal evolution is more about uncovering rather than adding layers to oneself.

Thinking time, I need a glass of water!
