next, get a new passport

I had everything planned for a wedding in New Orleans, the city where I was born. The date was May 27, 2006 and we were having a grand party at Popp Fountain in City Park among the live oaks and spanish moss. All of that changed August 2005! Now our family and friends are joining us on a cruise to the Bahamas.

I applied for my first passport last month. I now feel like I need to go somewhere with it. What’s even cooler…my mom applied for the first time in her life. It’s an awesome feeling!!

Remember to check with your local Post Office. There should be one in the area who can do the whole thing for you. They’re great and they make sure that everything is filled out properly so that you don’t get it bounced back to you for more information.
