i want to be an animator!i was inspired by the likes of anime-kami-sama ozamu tesuka and the creator of fushigi yuugi miss yuu watasegenki genki!
I have just written another entry about being an animator here: http://www.43things.com/things/view/33357
ever since I was in the 5th grade, Ive been fasinated with animation, if you really look at it, it’s a beutiful way to use art to tell stories! I want to tell stories using the old fashioned hand drawn animation!

It’s not that I’m giving up, it’s just that my life is full of so many other things… not in a bad way, but I can definitely say that there are other things that are more important for now. Do I still want this? It would be interesting, definitely. But these days I don’t crave it like I did before. We’ll see.
I still love watching animated features and shorts, though. I don’t think that would ever go away.

I created a children’s animation DVD called Booples (theBooples.com). The site has 4 clips – one each day.
I used Moho from Lostmarble to make it which is relatively cheap. I just recently started a forum for indep animators to use: indieanim.com.
Let me know what you think!
If being an animator is like climbing Mt Everest, I think I’m not even in Nepal yet. What is worst is that I’m hundred of miles away from Nepal! I’m set on being a character animator. It is a lifelong dream. There is so much to learn. Now I’ll just have to be focus, have a plan and see it through.
Maybe I’ll reach this goal when I’m 60… lol.
I’m actually at school training to be an animator. I’m at university in Southampton, England. I’m about to make a 3 mnute short film over the next year.
