Ok, I have been failing at my exercise goal. I am making a new start today. I spent 30 minutes today do strength exercises. Tomorrow I plan on doing some cardio. Probably walking in the evening. I know I can do this.

I have really integrated exercising into my everyday life. The trick for me has been to find something I really love: dancing. Weight training I don’t like that much but if one doesn’t want to wind up being a “thin fatso” it needs to be done at least 3 x week.
It’s really warm here in Zürich around +27 C so I have swum twice today in the Zürich see – morning before work and evening after work. I have already quite a nice sun tan – it makes me look slimmer-like a surfer girl
I’ve been swimming and going to bhangra. This week I’ll try to add up more strength excersises.
I’m at the moment going to Bhangra dancing once a week. It’s fun and makes you sweat. I hope in time I’ll be able to also take up Bollywood dancing, unfortunately there aren’t courses for that here in Zürich yet.
I also try to walk to work regularly. I used to go to Aerobic and to gym a lot but I think I overdid it…at the moment even the thought of dragging myself there makes me want to crawl under the duvet but I’m determined to go this week. It’s a start and I believe in starts.
I hope the weather will warm up soon so I can go to Schwimmbad to swim. That’s something I love.
Well, after a fairly major operation 5 weeks ago, I can honestly say that I am back on track again, albeit slowly. I am walking every day for about 20 minutes. BUT, I will get stonger, and am taking things slowly at the moment – so this is going very well….........
has got me back on track with this one. I’m going to record any future progress (or lapses) under improve my overall health and well-being.
I made my first trip to the gym today. I realised, that no, I cannot figure out how to use gym equipment when all the buttons are in Japanese. I had an interesting experience on the treadmill – first too slow, then too fast! After half an hour I finally decided to get some help, which of course I should have done in the first place…
YES, you must do this. You feel so much better when you have done at least 30 minutes a day. It keeps you buzzing all day. Definitely recommend it…..............
I am failing dismally at this goal! – but all hope is not lost. I decided to investigate gym options again. There’s one right next door to work and the fees seem fairly reasonable. I’m going to make a decision on this by next week.
