I’m enrolled in 202, again, after a two year break. Fingers crossed.

the only thing i can say is Los Tango El goto pantalones… i thing thats wrong… AARRGGHH. I want to speak spanish!!
i already do. but it needs some work i get nervous sometimes, i think it quickly, but it comes out all slow and stupid. sure i translate at work and i have conversations in Spanish and make jokes. i even know a lot of different dialects but i am not 100% comfortable. sometimes i dream in Spanish and it is perfect.i don’t really wright in Spanish either. but then i don’t really get the opportunity. i could probably do it but i wouldn’t know where to put the accent marks. What if my mother forgets her English in her old age like my grandfather did. Shit that would really suck. i want to be able to speak Spanish like i grew up in a Spanish speaking country.
Carinadawn is trying to choose her fall classes wisely.
I’m the spawn of a cuban immigrant who was born in New England. I learned bits and pieces throughout my life and most recently through a student exchange program in Spain but I still am not fluent. DAMNIT!
That’s the only picture I have from the trip, naturally I forgot my camera and it arrived the day before I came home.
I’ve lived in Spain, and in Mexico, and now I find myself here in Ecuador. My Spanish is good, but I wish it were better than just good. I haven’t, however, put too much effort into learning, besides just being here and getting by as I go. I think I’m going to take some classes while I’m here so I can take my already pretty good spanish to the next level. Quiero hablar como una Quitena!
I will be teaching next fall in a school where 80% of the students have Spanish as their 1st language. I’ve been studying Span for the past 4 years in college, but I don’t feel confident speaking to the parents of my students. This spring and summer it’s practice, practice, practice (and telenovelas)!
I’m hoping this will happen when I visit Spain this Spring Break & live for 3 months in Buenos Aires. Anybody been to Buenos Aires?
I started doing more studying in spanish, but I slacked off. I need to get back to it, because I was getting much better.
