renovate bathroom

By this time next year, I will have a beautiful, welcoming, spa-like bathroom. It will be my pride and joy. I will enjoy cleaining it. It will have heated floors and a terrific tub. I can’t wait to for my first bubble bath. :-). In order to reach this goal, I will increase the amount of money I save.

The bathroom is unpleasant.

When we moved here in July 2005, the bathroom and toilet were in serious need. However, nothing much happened till I got a job, so we could fund it.
We’ve ordered the fittings and tiles, and this week it’s been pretty much stripped. The skip is out on the drive, the new stuff arrives on Thursday.
We have a bath and a sink in the bathroom – no tiles, wallpaper or floor covering; the toilet is pretty much the same.
But by Easter it will be beautiful and new (we hope…)

We are thinking about getting the bathroom re-tiled, but we also want to get it replaced completely. Just getting new tiles will be pointless if we are getting the whole place replaced. The toilet also needs to be replaced or at least renovated.
