Michiel. is Michiel is Michiel is Michiel.
Did the course, sloughed through the books, did a 5-day bootcamp, I’m fairly confident I can pass. I really enjoyed this course, even though in some respects it just touched on things without going ‘deep’. I don’t want to get ahead of myself, but I think I would like to start on CCNP next. But first up: some more practice and the actual exam!

Now learning for the ICND2 so I’ll be a full CCNA. Subnetting ahoy!

The actual material covered seems doable – it is just that finding the time to study is going to be hard :/

Starting in February due to the fact I need to take an Exchange 2007 course first and do some work-related travel, but yay!

I currently, by the grace of God, work as a technician, but in a helpdesk capacity using mostly remote capabilites and a Knowledge Base provided by the company I work for – none the less I have less certifications than anyone there. I have gone and studied for various certs at various times, but this last time, like some of the other folks I too took a class and passed “with honors” but somehow managed to screw up the actual Cert Exam by waiting until the last minute then going totally unprepared. It wasn’t that I failed the test, but basically didn’t get back to take the test in time; by the time I was ready for the test I had to pay for it again; since I didn’t have the money I put it on hold. That was so long ago that I’m even less prepared than I was then; on the other hand I’ve been working and have much more first hand experience than I did at that time, so if I can just focus on this I should be able to pass the test and become certified. I for one would love to be certified; I hear a lot of techs say that it doesn’t matter (Probably those few who haven’t managed to get their certs yet haha) but if nothing else it would make me feel better, give me more confidence and most of all look a hell of a lot better on my resume’ – I know I can take the test here in town, but was wondering if it was possible to become A+ Certified completely online. – Well I’ve decided to put this on my list: I really would like to be certified!!!

So I immediately faxed the form before he could change his mind, or the budget.

In Summer 04, i took the Cisco Course @ Univeristy, however, i’m not presently really interested in getting the certification per se, so i’m pretty happy with just completing the course.

I’d love to do this, but I don’t have time. Maybe someday if I get a new job.

So I had budgeted for two cisco classes for myself through work. They just cut that out of the budget, so I guess maybe I’ll study on my own.
