How I did it:
I followed the three day 'detox for the skin' from: 'Detox: Regaining Your Health and Vitality' by Penelope Sach.
It got easier as I went along. A juicer was required. If you don’t have one, buy or borrow. I was lucky to find one half price in the post-Christmas sales at Target.
I planned in advance so I could shop for the fruit, vegetables, herbal tea and vitamin supplements required. Some were tough to find. I went to a few different health and chemist warehouse stores.
I chose a long weekend where I didn’t have lots of social plans to distract me. I spent a lot of time, chopping, peeling and cutting, plus rinsing off knives, chopping boards and juicer parts.
