I’m gonna start next Monday for 5 days, but if I’m doing well I might try and do 7. I have two tubs of slim fast mix that I’ve had a while and haven’t used yet, so I’m gonna go on a diet of shakes, water and fruit and vegetables. Wish me luck. xx.

I did a fruit detox diet which had me really focus on the things that I put in my body. I am glad that I did this because it gave me a new out look on what I should be eating and how it does affect not only my body but mood as well. I am working on losing weight but this I didn’t expect to lose weight off of but motivated me that eating healthy and taking care of myself is good for me. So I encourage everyone out there to try this at least once.

i now 16 months ago

no longer eat crap. and i can say that without feeling as though that is not the full truth. everything is multi grain, no butter, loads of fruit and veg, fruit/veg in every meal, no snacks, at least 2L of water a day, meat once a day, loads of fibre.
i have been watching alot of shows on tv lately that all talk about obesity and health issues… which i think (subconsciously) plays a massive part in my decrease of crappy food. but the things is, i havent REALLY done it consciously. i did for the first week but now its just what i prefer or crave. i still let myself have ‘treats’, i am having chocolate on the weekends and i have a small amount of dressing on my salads. but then, this is not a diet. its a change in the way i eat and the whole idea is not to lose weight. so i am allowed treats etc.

i have a feeling i just need to work on sleep :P

but i am not sure whether or not this diet change ‘counts’ as a detox diet. ... hmmmm….

perhaps. i will ponder further and decide by the time school goes back.,

i have been eating alot healthier. i am not eating snacks, and lunch and dinner are both healthy meals for me. but its not a detox diet. but i know if i jumped straight into a detox diet from the way i was eating before, it would have been too much of a change and i wouldnt have stuck by it. when i start this now, i actually think i might achieve it.
...
needa go look for alittle more information so i actually know what i am doing without hurting myself…

well i know, realistically, i wont be able to do this soon. so i have decided to start this detox diet thing not now, during exams, but rather i am starting from the commencement of the holidays.

if it was worth it. But I must say that I felt really great after the discomfort of the first couple of days passed. Probably wouldn’t do it again, though.



start!! 21 months ago

im starting tomorrow! im excited! i know i cant do it alone so my best friend is doing it with me! i want to lose 15 lbs so i think by doing this for 4-5 days, it will kickstart my weightloss and i will feel good about myself and like the results so far and want to keep it that way so i will be motivated to stop eating sh*t and start eating good!!

Detox- giving up for now 2 years ago

So, my husband and I tried this, and it went very well for half a day but in the late afternoon and evening we felt absolutely horrible. I know, it probably is because we eat so much ‘junk’ and our body was in withdrawal from that junk, but right now in this heat we just could not continue to do that- we were non-functional. And with a two-year old- you have to be on your game at all times! :) We’ll try again though—in one day I lost 1 pound and hubby lost 2! (Partly water weight, no doubt, but some of it was bound to stay off!)

Detox diet 2 years ago

Today is day one… I am excited about it. We’ll see if the novelty wears off by day 9! :) So far I don’t feel deprived in the least—not even bothered yet by the no coffee part.
