How I did it: The most frustrating weekend of my life.
I've always seemed to be able to juggle with two balls, but when it came to that final third... well. Usually, it ended up half way across the room.
But stubborn determination pays off, and even though I can only keep the balls up in the air for approximately five seconds, I still count this as a win.
Not going to progress onto the flaming bowling balls just yet however... Read how I did it… 14 months ago
every Wednesday night…
1. plate spinning – after 3 weeks can start the plate every time and I’m now working on throwing the plate and catching it.
2. 3 ball juggling – up to 19 throws or so… gotta get more consistent
3. Poi – had my first instruction in poi.. working on my non-dominant hand
4. devil sticks (flower sticks) – gotta work on lifting up not batting side to side
doing this with my kid

My name is Vladik and I do an acrobatic, dance juggling act. I am currently working with Cirque Du Soleil and also have an entertainment company which does special and corporate events. I wanted to help some people out and try and teach them how to juggle as I get that asked quite often and have went through the process many times. It might not be as easy without showing it visually but I will try my best!
Anyone can learn to juggle in about a week or two. The best way is to actually start with one ball. Just throw from your right hand to your left hand about at head level and then throw from the left to your right at the same height. Practice so that you get your throws down exact every time. Now you can move on to 2 balls. First if you are right handed you first throw will start with your right hand and if you are left handed you will start with your left hand. So if you are right handed throw right then left right away in a consistent rhythm. The 2nd ball should be thrown under the first. DO NOT pass the 2nd ball throw. Many people do this mistake as it is natural to pass the 2nd ball fast to catch the 1st ball. Also throw these 2 balls at the same height every time. Make sure that one is not higher than the other and get this down really good until you start 3 balls. Now you can start 3 balls. 3 balls is basically the same thing as doing the 2 balls except for you just continue throwing right left then right left and so on. The main thing is you have to keep a consistent rhythm. Also try and not to make any jerking movement but create smooth movements. Well I hope this will help you learn how to juggle and if you would like to see me juggle you can visit my website at Modern ERA Cirque Entertainement22 months ago
