i’m sick of worrying about publishing my (probably bad) book, my skin, hectic american lifestyle. if i want to take a walk on the wild side, i will probably just go on a REAL adventure:
one that involves going to my family’s (whom i’ve never met) island, and introducing myself…after i’m fluent…and making a 2nd home there. that’d be pretty awesome!
I am a very mad person about italy and all that is italian. I’m that kind of a made in Italy type. I love especially Catania, I visit there at least yearly for the festa in February, for all those who have never been there please make sure you go as it is excellent.
By the way all you italians out there I’d be happy to communicate, anyone interested my e-mail is obviously italia@onvol.net.
Forza Azzurri!!!!

i’m taking them too often. it sparkled my day one day when talking to my venetian friend, he said “my dad is on siesta”
so at least some still do it, right? i’m carrying on that tradition. i almost rely on my daily naps now haha (bad thing??)

i definitely had one yesterday, and today too since i had a nice lunch with friends and just kind of bummed around and did what i wanted to (then came home and unstressfully am un-packing and will get to studying later :P)

rented
1. “as the romans do” by alan epstein
2. “italian pride: 101 reasons to be proud you’re italian” by federico & stephen moramarco
and
3. “under the tuscan sun” by frances mays (must-read!)
the number one book, though, will give me INSANE advice on the famed italian lifestyle. hurrah!!!
