feel at home

I don’t feel uneasy at home anymore. I think all that’s left to feel at home is to clean up my aunt’s and uncle’s messes that they never clean up. It is a problem that they NEVER clean anything.

Did not feel at all uneasy being home today.. bought a candle and an air freshener to try to reduce some of the gross cigarette smell from my aunt and uncle.

Feeling a little more comfortable everyday.. no matter how weird and rude my aunt and uncle can be.

I slept pretty well last night. I said hey to my aunt and it wasn’t awkward. I guess I am adjusting to things. As I quote says, “why go looking for joy door-to-door, when you can find it in your own home?” My uncle saved a piece of pizza for me tonight. That was nice.

Today me and my aunt talked for probably about an hour. There was some topics that caused a little friction and she kinda misunderstands some of the things I say, but whatever we can work on it.

No awkwardness today. And I am feeling more comfortable spending more time at home.

No awkward moments with my aunt today. I even talked to her a little bit beyond just saying hi. Also took my cat in my room and spent some time with him.
