I’ve done this for weeks at a time, but old habits always resurge. After the first few days of lethargy and withdrawal, I feel incredible, and my body doesn’t always feel tired. But I somehow always return. It’s cheap and easy, I guess. Poor excuses. Not to mention the opiate-like effect these foods have on our brains.

I have lost about 20 pounds so far… 190 to 170. When you cut out HFCS you naturally eat more veggies and fruit, and you feel better about exercising. I think that refined foods will destroy America, and I am doing my part getting militant with my own diet.

i’ve been doing this for a week now and it isn’t so difficult. i just limit myself to eating things that don’t come in a package. i’ve been buying everything from the produce section and it’s delicious and fresh.

I feel like this is as essential as brushing your teeth, too much processed food blocks your arteries and makes you feel/ actually makes you fat. somedays I only eat junk and this is awful I am making myself sick- in 2 yrs all of this junk will result in some sort of awful disease I want to prevent this

If foods contain ingredients that I neither recognize nor can pronounce, then I shouldn’t be eating it.

today: 2 years ago

breakfast—1 apple and 1 serving raw organic gouda
lunch—1 whole wheat tortilla, raw organic gouda, 1 vegan chicken patty, organic spinach and 2 tablespoons organic yogurt
snack—3 teriyaki chicken wings dipped in ranch
dinner—organic macaroni and cheese mixed with salmon, an organic egg and organic spinach
snack—1 serving candy, 1 cup sleepytime tea

I’m getting there. Minus the chicken wings and candy I did excellent.

On tomorrow’s menu:
breakfast—fasting tea, water with emergen-C, 1 orange
lunch—organic vegetarian pot pie
snack—1 apple
dinner—something healthy!
