How to write an autobiography
How I did it: I researched other people's bios used some of what they had that was relevant to me and put in my information. I still don't love it but I finished it. When I was done, I asked a writer to help me edit it and give me other suggestions on improving it.
Lessons & tips: Don't let your fear of failure stop you from doing what you want. Do your best, ask for help, and be proud that you accomplished what you were able to.

As I look back on my life, I realize that I have learned a lot of useful information for every day and always. One day, I hope to put my life in perspective and on paper for the world to read. I might not publish it, but I will post it somewhere for people to get a look at it. Look forward to it!!

I had an interesting life with plenty of ups and downs and it’s not even done yet! Not even close. I want to share my story with the world.
My autobiography was actually done…
Based on my 43 things page. I wrote entries about my biggest goals, how I got interested in them, what it would take for me to complete them, how I had already started working on them, even a few completed goals made it in…
But wow. The relief I felt in finishing that paper up…it was the last thing on my list of graduation requirements.
And I am done, baby!
I’ve always wondered what my grandfather’s life was like.
A WWII veteran, father of 9, stubborn truck driver, but thats it. where did he grow up? what did he think of his life? Wouldn’t it be nice to here the life lessons of our fathers? This is what I want to bring to my son and his future family. A story of my life wouldn’t be all that exciting but i think the lessons learned could bless anyone who could relate to it.
As a high school graduation requirement, I am supposed to write an autobiography. For me, this doesn’t sound hard. It didn’t seem like a challenge, and I was extremely confidant that I could have it completed in a few hours. I love writing, and can squeeze an essay out in approximately 2 hours and get a 4.0 so an autobiography with no research involved should be no problem. Righr?
No.
I’ve tried writing the damn thing 24 different ways, 59 times.
It doesn’t matter how many times I sit at a computer and stare at the screen. It doesn’t matter how many times I try and write out my presentation word for word (as this is an acceptable form), it just won’t come out.
I’m hoping that tonight will be my last night of wrestling with it.
This is one of my life-long dreams. There have been so many crazy, mad, inspiring, wild, sad, daring, stories in my life, and God has been taking me through all of them.
I will one day, hopefully, find the time to do this. The title will be “Real Men Cross Their Legs.” You’ll find out why, when it comes out! :)
drin is thinking about people she's forgotten to miss.
i’m not even a great writer.
my life isn’t grandly interesting.
but, i still get the urge,
every so often, to write one.
An autobiography graphic novel is one of things that I’ve always wanted to do. Even though I’m a blue collar drop-out, I think my life has meanings for others to enjoy.
Hannah Will I ever be able to sew this darn dress?!
My computer died and I lost a lot of what I had written. I give up.
