be a Pin Up girl

There was a time when i didn’t feel really confortable with my body, it’s not that people were mean or anything because it wasn’t the case at all, i don’t want to seem pretencious but i always had success with guys and people usually told me i was beautiful, my one and only true enemy was my own self… but now it’s all over. i first wanted to create my own lingerie line inspired by the 40s and when a guy stopped me in the street and told me i looked like betty page, that’s when i wanted to become a pin up girl (oh and, by the way, I DO NOT look like betty page at all haha but it was a great great compliment anyway)

Pin up girls are so effin cool. I love drawing them, looking at pictures of them, so cool.

So I have a shoot coming up Saturday in NYC to be a pin up girl. For some reason I am more excited about this than any other photshoot I have done. I just bought an amazing red lipstick and may go to a vintage shop in my neighborhood for any last minute things. If anyone has any ideas, shoot them over!!!

I’m finally learning to come to terms with my body shape and actually like it and want to show it off. I want to be a pin up, but one needs wardrobe and a (semi) professonal photographer. Does anyone have any tips for getting these things on a starving artist’s/student’s budget?
